CEOAS offers a number of field courses which are required for specific majors. Students from other majors may sign up for these intensive field based courses when space is available.

Climate Science

• Observing Climate (ATS 295) is offered in the fall (intercession) at field sites near Corvallis, OR

Geology

• Introduction to Field Geology (GEO 295) is offered each September in Bishop, CA.
• Advanced Field Geology (GEO 495) is offered each summer in June and July in Mitchell, OR.

Geography & Geospatial Science

• Geographic Field Research (GEOG 295) is offered each September at various Oregon sites.
• Field Geography Synthesis (GEOG 495) is offered each Spring term.

Oceanography
