Research Interests
John S. Allen began conducting research in physical oceanography in the early 1970s. He made contributions to the study of coastal shelf circulation processes through theoretical work, field experiments, data analysis and interpretation, and numerical modeling. He was author or co-author of more than 100 scientific publications.
