College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences

FUNCTION/PURPOSE:  The function of the CDC is to implement and review college practices to promote issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within the college and our scientific communities. The activities of the committee include:

• Strategic planning around issues of DEI
• Collection of demographic information
• Coordination and reporting of existing DEI activities within the college
• Special projects devised by the CEOAS Dean to improve DEI within CEOAS
• Educational activities in CEOAS to promote DEI
