Jean Bowman Clark Education Scholarship Jean Bowman Clark established this scholarship in recognition of her strong interest in Oregon State University and the study of geology. Jean received her Bachelor's degree from OSU in 1939 and her Master's degree in 1940, both degrees in the field of geology.
Dr. Mary L. Brugo Geography Scholarship The Dr. Mary L. Brugo Graduate Geography Scholarship was established to provide support for the general purpose of student education in the Geography program, including, but not limited to, scholarships, student/faculty research projects, support for student travel to present papers at conferences, and student-related laboratory equipment.
Wayne V. Burt Award The Wayne V. and Louise Burt Award was established to support graduate students in the fields of physical oceanography or atmospheric sciences who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in their area of study.
Wayne V. & Louise Burt Memorial Fellowship The Wayne V. and Louise Burt Memorial Fellowship was established to support graduate students in the fields of physical oceanography or atmospheric sciences. Students must have completed at least two years in their field of study and completed their written and comprehensive examinations.
Butler Family CEOAS  Scholarship The Butler Family CEOAS Graduate Scholarship was established in memory of Thomas G. Butler and Margaret H. Butler to support graduate students in any CEOAS major. The goal of the scholarship is to support education and research topics utilizing analytical and computational technologies.
Richard W. Chambers Geology Scholarship The Richard W. Chambers Geology Scholarship was established to commemorate Richard W. Chambers and his love for geology. Richard graduated from OSU in 1962 and began a 30-year career with Chevron Oil.
Ada A. Chipman and Alford M. Downs Memorial Fellowship The Ada A. Chipman and Alford M. Downs Memorial Fellowship was established to support students finishing their dissertations (for whom their grant funds have been exhausted) or to new students who have not yet received their initial stipend to who need to pay tuition, rent, etc. or to students invited to present research results and national meetings who whose grant does not support travel, or to any student determined to need emergency funding.
Drs. James A. and Stella Melugin Coakley Scholarship The Drs. James A. and Stella Melugin Coakley Scholarship was established to support graduate students in alternate years in the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmopsheric Sciences and the College of Agricultural Science's Departments of Botany and Plant Pathology who are studying in areas of atmospheric sciences.
Climate Science Excellence Scholarship The Climate Science Excellence Scholarship was established to benefit the Climate Science program to support salary for undergraduate students in work-study programs for students with financial need, for scholarships, student travel, faculty seed grants, and other program costs.
Climate Science Undergraduate Scholarship The Climate Science Undergraduate Scholarship was established by a generous gift from an anonymous donor to provide unrestricted scholarship support to students in the Climate Science program within the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences.
Warren W. Denner Memorial Graduate Fellowship The Warren W. Denner Memorial Graduate Scholarship was established in memory of Warren W. Denner who received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Physical Oceanography from OSU. Rob Denner, his son, was also actively involved until he passed away unexpectedly in 2017. The scholarship is designed to provide recognition and financial assistance to graduate students majoring in Ocean, Earth, and Atmospheric Sciences or Marine Resource Management. Students must be in good academic standing. The students' desire, dedication, determination, financial need, and academic achievement shall be considered in the selection.
Geoffrey Dimmick Scholarship The Geoffrey Dimmick Memorial Fund was established in memory of former Marine Resource Management (MRM) student, Geoffrey Dimmick, who died in SCUBA accident in 1983. This fund supports the Geoffrey Dimmick Service Award, given annually to a continuing graduate student in the MRM Program who exemplifies a commitment to service and building community within the MRM Program. The fund also supports other Geoffrey Dimmick Scholarship(s) to support new or continuing students in the MRM Program, based on academic performance, financial need, and service to the MRM Program, or evidence of similar service.
Daniel G. Emrick Graduate Scholarship The Daniel G. Emrick Scholarship was established to support and benefit students, faculty, and programs of Geology.
Harold A. Enlows Education Fund The Harold A. Enlows Education Fund was established to support the Geology Field Camp.
Environmental Sciences Scholarship This funds provides scholarships for undergrduate students demonstrating financial need in CEOAS with a preference for students majoring in Environmental Sciences.
Environmental Sciences Endowed Scholarship The Environmental Sciences Endowed Scholarship supports undergraduate students in the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences who have demonstrated financial need. Preference will be given to students in the Environmental Sciences program.
Engagement in Environmental Sciences Scholarship The Engagement in Environmental Sciences Scholarship recognizes undergraduate students' co-curricular activities in the Environmental Sciences field outside the classroom.
Excellence in Environmental Sciences Scholarship The Excellence in Environmental Sciences Scholarship recognizes outstanding undergraduate scholarship in the Environmental Sciences.
Environmental Science Student Travel Scholarship The Environmental Science Student Travel Scholarship was established to support travel for Environmental Sciences undergraduate students.
Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences Student Assistance Scholarship The Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences Student Assistance Scholarship was established to support graduate student activities and programs.
CEOAS Student Emergency Scholarship The CEOAS Student Emergency Scholarship was established to provide emergency funding for CEOAS students experiencing an unexpected hardship.
John W. Erickson Geology Summer Field Camp Scholarship The John W. Erickson Geology Summer Field Camp Scholarship was established to help defray the costs of students attending summer Geology Field Camp by funding transportation, room and board, tuition, etc.
Samuel M. Evans, Jr. Scholarship To commemorate Samuel M. Evans Jr. who was killed while in the Navy on November 18, 1970. He was interested in geology and Oregon was his favorite state.
Henry R. Fehrenbacher Graduate Fellowship The Henry R. Fehrenbacher Graduate Fellowship was established to provide full cost of attendance for one or more graduate students in CEOAS to support students in their efforts to advance the frontiers of knowledge about the ocean, atmosphere, and earth systems.
Lance Forsythe Memorial Scholarship The Lance Forsythe Memorial Scholarship was established in 2003 by friends and colleagues of Lance Forsythe. This scholarship recognizes a graduate student that has exhibited great breadth and independence of thought in the pursuit of their research and educational goals at Oregon State University. Preference is given to those conducting research in the field of geosciences, broadly defined.
Michael Freilich Memorial Scholarship The Michael Freilich Memorial Scholarship supports research experiences for members of historically underrepresented groups such as students from low income families with demonstrated financial need and students who are first in their families to attend college through an undergraduate scholarship in remote sensing research in the Earth Sciences, including oceanography, atmospheric sciences, land-use change and polar science.
Dr. Jack H. and Susanne Gakstatter Scholarship The Dr. Jack H. and Susanne Gakstatter Scholarship was established to commemorate Dr. Jack H. and Susanne Gakstatter with support for undergraduate students studying aspects of fresh water quality and/or freshwater ecosystems in the environmental sciences.
Geology Field Trip Fund The Geology Field Trip Fund supports students in the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences.
Geology Graduate Student Teaching Assistant Fellowship The Geology Graduate Student TA Fellowship is awarded to students who received a GTA offer as part of their admission. They must be actively working as a graduate teaching assistant to qualify for this fellowship.
Glasmann Sedimentary Petrology Fund in Geology The Glasmann Sedimentary Petrology Fund in Geology was established to support Geology graduate research.
Geography Graduate Student Assistance Scholarship The Geography Graduate Student Assistance Scholarship was established to assist students enrolled in the Geography program with travel expenses or other expenses related to their studies.
Gary Gustafson Fund This fund supports undergraduate or graduate students studying in the Geography & Geospatial Sciences program; approved uses included, but are not limited to, scholarships, experiential learning opportunities, field work, conference attendance, educational travel, emergency needs.
William Hanson Geology Scholarship in Honor of Alan Niem This fund provides undergraduate and graduate scholarship support in the Geology program.  Preference is given to students exhibiting financial need and studying in the research areas of stratigraphy, sedimentay or structural geology.
E. Wendell Hewson Scholarship in Applied Meteorology The E. Wendell Hewson Scholarship in Applied Meteorology was established to benefit juniors and seniors in the Climate Science program.
David Hite Geology Field Camp Student Support Fund This funds provides student support for the Geology Field Camp Program.
S & D Howe Marine Science Research, Scholarship, and Public Education Fund This funds support research, scholarships, or public education in the area of marine science.
Christian John Hunt Memorial Scholarship The Christian John Hunt Memorial Scholarship commemorates Christian John Hunt, a Geography program alumnus.
Linda Lamb Scholarship Commemorates Linda Lamb who served as the CEOAS Director of Publications.
Landau Associates Scholarship To support CEOAS students who are interested in environmental consulting.
Tim & Linda Lauer Geology Graduate Scholarship The Tim & Linda Lauer Geology Scholarship was established to benefit students, faculty, and programs of the Geology program.
Murray Levine Teaching Assistantship Fund For GTAs supporting a class in physical, biological, or chemical oceanography or atmospheric sciences.  Must show promise for outstanding contribution to the teaching of the class.
Bob Lillie Park Experience Fund This scholarship supports one or more undergraduate or graduate students in the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences who have worked or volunteered in any park, forest or similar lands administered by national, regional, state or local agencies. Preference will be given to students who have participated in the Scientists in Parks Program of the National Park Service (NPS) or served as a seasonal or volunteer interpretive ranger for NPS or other federal, state or local agencies. Groups historically underrepresented in higher education will also be given preference.
Lydia Departmental Dog Fund for Student Support To support the conference and workshop travel of graduate students in Geography, Marine Resource Management, and Water Resource Management programs.
Richard D. Mathews Memorial Scholarship in Oceanography The Richard D. Mathews Memorial Scholarship in Oceanography was established to provide scholarships to Oceanography graduate students nearing the completion of their theses.
Gordon Matzke Scholarship The Gordon Matzke Scholarship was established to benefit graduate students in Geography.
Angela McDannel Student Success Endowment Fund The fund provides support for undergraduate and/or graduate students in the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences. Approved uses may include (but are not limited to) student scholarships, experiential learning opportunities, support for undergraduate and/or graduate students to attend field camp, field work, conference attendance, educational travel, or emergency needs as determined by the Dean of the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences. Preference will be given to students from groups historically underrepresented in higher education, such as students from low-income families with demonstrated financial need and students who are from the first generation in their families to attend college.
Merrill Family Foundation Scholarship in CEOAS The Merrill Family Scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students in the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences.
CEOAS Graduate Fellowship in Mineral Resources The CEOAS Graduate Fellowship in Mineral Resources was established to support field and lab expenses related to mineral resources studies to include, but not be limited to, Argon-Argon analysis, thin sections, other analytical services, thesis preparation and publication costs, field logistics support, and travel expenses and lodging of a graduate student and major professor including airfare from the U.S. to Peru and other related expenditures.
Mineral Resources Geology Graduate Scholarship in Honor of Cyrus Field and John Dilles The Mineral Resources Geology Graduate Scholarship in Honor of Cyrus Field and John Dilles supports graduate students majoring in Mineral Resources Geology or a closely related field.  Funds can be used for tuition, fees, stipend, and/or research expenses.
Keith W. Muckleston Scholarship for Excellence in Water Resource Geography The Keith W. Muckleston Scholarship for Excellence in Water Resource Geography was established to provide scholarships for graduate students in Geography with an emphasis on research in water resources to provide travel funds to support students who will be presenting a paper or poster in water resources policy at a professional meeting.
Maurice Mundorff Memorial Scholarship The Maurice Mundorff Memorial Scholarship was established to commemorate the life of Maurice Mundorff. The scholarship is designed to support full-time graduate students majoring in Geology.
Dennis & Christine Munson Scholarship The fund provides scholarships for undergraduate students in the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences who have demonstrated financial need.
Ocean Ecology of Nekton Research Award The Ocean Ecology of Nekton Research award provides support for research in the area of ocean ecology of nekton. Preference goes to those students who are already conducting thesis or dissertation research in this area and who may need additional funding. Academic achievement and financial need will be considered for this award.
Keith Oles and Ed Taylor Scholarship The Keith Oles and Ed Taylor Scholarship was established to commemorate  Keith Oles and Ed Taylor, retired professors in Geology at Oregon State  University.
Outstanding Geology Senior Award Honors a graduating senior majoring in Geology who demonstrates excellence in scholarship and professional motivation.
Outstanding Geography Senior Award Honors a graduating senior majoring in Geography and Geospatial Science who demonstrates excellent performance in geography.
Outstanding GIScience Senior Award Honors a graduating senior majoring in Geography and Geospatial Science who demonstrates excellent performance in geography and GIScience.
Earl L. Packard Achievement Award The Earl L. Packard Achievement Award was established in 1990 by Ellen J. Moore to commemorate Earl L. Packard.  Earl Packard was a professor in Geology at Oregon State University, as well as a former dean of the College of Science. This award is made in spring term to a undergraduate Geology students with senior standing.
Arthur Parenzin Memorial Graduate Research Fellowship The Arthur Parenzin Memorial Geography Scholarship commemorates Arthur Parenzin, who was a Ph.D. student at OSU studying Geography. The scholarship is available to students in Geography, who may receive support when nearing completion of either a master's thesis or doctoral dissertation and is based on the quality of the student's research and to undergraduate students majoring in Geography and Geospatial Science, who may receive up to four years of support upon continued eligibility.
Patterson Memorial Research Initiation Scholarship The Patterson Memorial Research Initiation Scholarship was established for the purpose of aiding the graduate or postgraduate students, faculty, and programs of the Geology program.
Geology Fellowship for Pacific Northwest Field Work The Geology Fellowship for Pacific Northwest Field Work was established to support one graduate Geology student annually who demonstrates financial need and who is doing field work in the Pacific Northwest.
Amanda Prewitt Memorial Scholarship The Amanda Prewitt Memorial Scholarship commemorates Amanda Prewitt, who was a Geology major. OSU scholarships that limit eligibility by sex and/or gender are administered through a process that ensures that members who identify as another sex and/or gender are not disadvantaged in terms of the number of scholarship opportunities available.
First Quantum Minerals Research Graduate Scholarship The First Quantum Minerals Research Scholarship was established to support students in Geosciences doing research on mineral deposits.

Seabridge Gold Graduate Fellowship The Seabridge Gold Graduate Fellowship was established to support graduate students in CEOAS. Funds may be used for tuition, fees, benefits, as a stipend, or for research costs.
Anne Elizabeth Sellers Environmental Sciences Scholarship The Anne Elizabeth Sellers Environmental Sciences Scholarship is available Oregon residents who are juniors and seniors majoring in Environmental Sciences on the Corvallis campus, and who have a minimum 3.0 GPA in core classes needed for the major within their selected specialization. The Anne Elizabeth Sellers Environmental Sciences scholarship was established to facilitate the higher education of students with similar interests in and dedication to protecting and improving our natural environment as Anne Elizabeth had. Anne was a passionate defender of Oregon's wild places, a fighter for environmental justice, an organic gardener, a bicycle commuter, and a lover of animals.

Kenneth & Adrienne Sexton Graduate Student Support Fund The Kenneth and Adrienne Sexton Graduate Student Support Fund was established to support travel, research, and equipment purchase for graduate students in oceanographic and biological sciences in the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences.
George & Danielle Sharp Geology Scholarship Established in 2004 by George & Danielle Sharp, this scholarship provides support for graduate students studying Geology.  Recipients should be involved or express a desire to work on a thesis project in the fields of structural geology, tectonics, stratigraphy or sedimentology. Priority is given to students doing research involving field techniques and field problems in the Pacific Northwest.
Steady As A Rock Award The Steady As A Rock Award was established to recognize a student who has done great work for the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences, and for its students.
Shiloh Sundstrom Scholarship The Shiloh Sundstrom Memorial Scholarship is available to graduate students in the programs of Geography and Forest Ecosystems and Society to help support students engaged in research on conservation and rural communities who may not have access to adequate funding or for whom existing funding does not cover key expenses.
CEOAS Graduate Teaching Assistant Excellence Scholarship The CEOAS Graduate Teaching Assistant Excellence Scholarship honors graduate teaching assistants who are majors within the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences for exceptional performance of their TA duties.
Ruth M. Tyson Scholarship The Ruth M Tyson scholarship is awarded to undergraduate Ocean Sciences students in the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences.
Ruth M. Tyson Nor'wester Award in Ocean Science To honor early career students (e.g., freshmen and sophomores or recent transfers) who have demonstrated the best combination of camaraderie, seagoing skills, interest and general "stick-with-it-ness" during the OC295/296 cruise on the bounding main - i.e., the North Pacific Ocean in March.
Ruth M. Tyson Graduating Senior Award in Ocean Science The Ruth M. Tyson Graduating Senior Award in Ocean Science was established to honor and recognizes academic excellence by a graduating senior in upper division core Ocean Science classes (i.e., 300- and 400-level classes).
Warren M. and Mary C. Washington Endowed Scholarship in Climate Sciences The Warren M. and Mary C. Washington Endowed Scholarship in Climate Sciences was established to support undergraduate students majoring in Climate Sciences.
Doc Wilkinson Fieldwork Support Fund The Doc Wilkinson Fieldwork Support Fund provides awards to students in the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences.
Water Resource Management Research Scholarship The Water Resource Management Research Scholarship was established to support research in water resource management to include research conference travel, student support, and research supply expenses.
Keith H. Wrolstad Memorial Scholarship in Geophysics and Marine Geology The Keith H. Wrolstad Memorial Scholarship in Geophysics and Marine Geology was established in 2001 in memory of Keith H. Wrolstad who received his B.A. in Physics from OSU in 1965 then received his Ph.D. in Geophysics from OSU in 1978. The scholarship is designed to provide support for graduate students studying geophysics and/or marine geology in the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences. Students must be enrolled full-time and in good academic standing. The scholarship can be awarded to previous recipients.
