Through the generosity of donors and friends, the CEOAS Geography Graduate Program is able to offer funding to support students research activities and research related travel (i.e. to professional conferences, workshops, field-based activities).
The application is available through a link in the “How to Apply” section below. Before you apply please be sure to read all about eligibility, and the application process below. Awards are offered each term and the deadlines are shown below.

Open for applications on September 15th through October 20, 2024
Open for applications on February 16th through May 15, 2025
Eligibility
- Current Geography and Geospatial Sciences graduate students, and Water Resources Management students, and other graduate students in degree programs advised by CEOAS faculty members (if their advisor is a primary, active member of the Geography or Water Resources faculty).
- Students must be enrolled in the term in which funds are applied/released.
