CEOAS researchers partnered with Newport, Oregon artists and Latine youth to paint a long-planned mural near Nye Beach. The project is funded by the NSF Cascadia CoPes Hub and explores collaborative art as a means of science communication and local engagement.

The College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences is the center of Earth sciences at Oregon State University. Our scientists and students are on the leading edge of discovery, from the depths of the ocean to remote mountain peaks, and from the state-of-the-art labs that line our halls to the communities with which we partner to share the outcomes of our research.
