Brief Research Interests
Modern planktic foraminiferal ecology
Specialty
I am an instructor for the oceanography program teaching undergraduate courses and directing the Summer Research Experience for Undergraduates program in Ocean and Climate Science. I enjoy teaching ocean science and getting students into the field and out to sea. My scientific research focuses on marine microbiomes, marine heatwaves influence on plankton communities, and paired molecular ecology and geochemistry in foraminifera. I do not currently accept graduate students.
