Function
The function of the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences Diversity Committee is to implement and review practices to promote issues of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) within the college and our scientific communities. The activities of the committee include:
- Strategic planning around issues of DEI
- Collection of demographic information
- Coordination and reporting of existing DEI activities within the college
- Special projects devised by the CEOAS Dean to improve DEI within CEOAS
- Educational activities in CEOAS to promote DEI
