Communication, teaching, and engagement skills are necessary to bridge information gaps, facilitate and support learning across ages and locations, and to understand and assist in resource decision-making in all careers related to marine resource management. A focus in marine education and engagement provides students with the quantitative and qualitative skills to needed to design, develop, implement and evaluate marine education and engagement events or strategies.
