The College would like to help promote:

If you would like your work to be featured, please fill out the sections/questions that apply to you on the Grad Student Profile or Undergraduate Profile forms.

We would like to be able to use this information in College print and web publications for alumni, potential funders, and the public. (This might be inclusion in a CEOAS Highlights publication, alumni newsletter, interactive map of research, material for prospective students, etc.)

We will also 'pitch' your story to OSU publications such as Terra research magazine, OSU home page features, etc. If those outlets are interested they will contact you separately and work with you on content.

Photos are key to attracting readers or interesting another OSU publication to cover your story. Aim for a high-resolution photo that captures some action, tells a story, and shows you clearly. Feel free to submit several photos. Some examples are shown on this page. Provide a descriptive caption–when people browse a publication, sometimes they only look at the photos and captions. Don't worry about keeping the caption concise; a longer caption can be shortened as needed for the format of a publication.

This completed form will be sent to CEOAS Publishing (pubs@coas.oregonstate.edu). Before we publish a profile of you, we will contact you with a draft to review. If your profile is to appear in a printed piece, we will send you print/pdf copies, so that you can share with family/friends or include in your portfolio. If your profile appears in a web-based piece, we will send you a link.

If you have any other questions, please contact Research Publishing and Outreach.
