    Research Interests

    Optical remote sensing of the coastal ocean; deriving bottom type, bathymetry and water column properties and coastal dynamics from multispectral and hyperspectral remote sensing data.

    Current Research

    Supporting NOAA in the development of the Hyperspectral Environmental Suite, Coastal Waters (HES-CW) Imaging capability for GOES-R the next series of geostationary weather satellites; Provide technical advice on coastal waters imaging to the HES instrument team; Executive Director of the NOAA Coastal Ocean Applications and Science Team (COAST).
