    Research Interests

Understanding the physical and biological drivers of variability estuarine water chemistry. Especially the interactions between those drivers, time responses, how natural and anthropogenic sources of variability interact, and the resulting time varying stress on organisms and ecosystems.

How to integrate recent advances in the software industry, especially in "Big Data", into environmental science. There are currently massive new environmental data-sets coming online, how do we take make the crucial hidden information in them accessible and meaningful for a variety of audiences?
