Scientists on board the RV Oceanus is keeping a blog during our current cruise OC1708A (Kiene/Tortelle). The cruise purpose is to study DMS (dimethyl sulfide) using optics, radioactive chemicals, gas chromatography instruments, a mass spectrum, and many other wonderful/interesting instruments.
