Salmon Bowl 2016 – Saturday, February 27!

It's nearly time for the 19th Annual Salmon Bowl! Thank you to the 100 volunteers who have signed up to help; this is going to be a great year. We really appreciate the support and look forward to the competition!
Can't volunteer? Never seen the competition? Join in on the fun and show your support for these incredible students. The final rounds will be in Gilfillan Auditorium from 3:30–4:30 PM. Additional rounds will be held throughout the day in Wilkinson and Burt Halls. Center for Ocean Solutions & MARINE Early Career Multidisciplinary Mixer

The Center for Ocean Solutions works to solve the major problems facing the ocean and prepares leaders to take on these challenges. We are a partnership between Stanford University, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute. Throughout our work we encourage networking and collaboration between a variety of ocean disciplines and expertise, and invite those early in their careers to join us for food and fun to meet other like-minded ocean professionals interested in interdisciplinary problem-solving at the interface of science and policy.

Where: Rivergate Room, Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, 2016 Ocean Sciences Meeting, New Orleans, LA.
Who: All early career conference attendees are welcome, including ocean-interested students (undergraduate/graduate), faculty, and other multidisciplinary professionals from a variety of backgrounds and interests

February is Food Drive Month

All over campus there are opportunities to partake in the fun and have your money go to a good cause. Check out the calendar of events.

*You can write a check and give cash. This can be turned in to Biana in the CEOAS Admin office. Receipts are available.
* Make a monthly contribution directly from your paycheck.
* Drop off your non-perishable items in one of our conveniently located collection bins (CEOAS Admin or Wilkinson Office)
