Staff Fee Privileges (Tuition Discount): OSU Employees or Family Members Attending OSU

July 17, 2015 is the deadline to submit Staff Fee Privileges Approval Forms for OSU employees or family members attending OSU during Summer Term 2015.  The Staff Fee Privileges Approval Form, instructions, and information can be found at http://hr.oregonstate.edu/benefits/staff-fee-privileges-tuition-reduction.  Completed forms should be returned to:  Forestry, Oceanic, & Atmospheric Business Center (FOBC) Human Resources, 154 Peavy Hall, Attn: Megan Hickman.  If you miss the deadline, please contact Megan Hickman, FOBC HR, megan.hickman@oregonstate.edu for appeal process information and instructions.


NSF August Proposal deadline

Reminder NSF August 17th Proposal deadline Do’s and Don’ts:

  •  Do submit budget and budget justification early—CEOAS needs 24 hours, and Office of Sponsored Programs needs three business days: Last day to submit to meet deadline is August 11th.
  • Do remember CEOAS office hours: 8AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday.
  • Do read CEOAS Proposal Submission Process to get started or simply to refresh your memory of the process
  • Do go to CEOAS website for proposal guidelines as your first resource. (click Proposal Information)
  • Do go to CEOAS website for information on Cayuse Submission Process.
  • Do visit our NEW Cayuse SP Step by Step Instructions
  • Do remember Pubs is not able to help with Cayuse/Fastlane/Grants.gov submissions; this is the responsibility of the PI
  • Do consult Pubs for editorial support, graphics, or help with broader impacts. For details
  • Do remember to use Proposals@coas.oregonstate.edu to submit your draft budget and budget justification.
  • Do select one of the following when routing your proposal in Cayuse:
    • For most researchers, the org is either: 261220  CEOAS Geosciences or 261120  CEOAS Oceanic and Atmos Science.
    • If you are in OCCRI, OOI, Ship Ops, etc. the org should be:
      • 261150  CEOAS Climate Center (OCCRI only)
      • 261140  CEOAS Ocean Observing Initiative
      • 262010  CEOAS RCRV Regional Class Research Vessel
      • 262000  CEOAS Ship Operations
      DO NOT select anything else. If you select another org, your proposal will not be routed properly.
