Wednesday, April 1, 2015. 12:00 pm in Burt 193. OEB Seminar -Alison C. Iles, OSU: Department of Integrative Biology. “Complexity improves the predictability of ecological networks.”
NSF is coming to your area! Our next “NSF Day” will be held at the University of Washington at Bothell. NSF Days are one day workshops that are designed to share with prospective NSF-funded PIs best practices and tips to writing strong proposals in order to secure funding for valuable research.
While it will be held on April 1 (aka April Fool’s Day), it is no laughing matter. We are trying to engage as many early career researchers in the region as possible (we have a capacity of 200!).
As someone who successfully obtained NSF funding, you can, I’m sure, attest to the importance of writing a powerful proposal. Can you help us get the word out about this NSF Day to your colleagues and friends in the area (and further away, if they are willing to travel to Bothell)? Feel free to forward this link: http://1.usa.gov/1AkdUvB, forward this email and/or tweet using #NSFday and the link http://1.usa.gov/1AkdUvB
