Everyone is invited to a special ceremony for R/V Wecoma's retirement and a welcome for R/V Oceanus. The event will be held in Newport on the Ship Ops pier Friday afternoon, 23 March 2012 at 2 p.m. Following the ceremony and speeches, there will be a reception and opportunities to tour both ships. There will be a couple of vans going over to Newport (and back) from CEOAS Admin, leaving here about 12:30 p.m., returning between 5 and 6 p.m. If you would like to ride in one of the vans, please reserve your spot by letting Beth Magee know (firstname.lastname@example.org).
