Get ready to be inspired. On May 27, 2016 with his project coined BEYOND 7/2, Colin O'Brady, raised in Portland, Ore., conquered the speed records for the Explorers Grand Slam and Seven Summits – a global mountaineering challenge that includes climbing the tallest mountain on each continent and trekking the last degree of latitude to the North and South Poles.

In his talk, O'Brady will explore the value of perseverance, reaching beyond perceived limits, and breaking through self-imposed boundaries. BEYOND 7/2 took over a year to plan, and numerous setbacks were encountered along the way. O'Brady will showcase how plans are essential, but a willingness to adjust to things outside of your control is crucial for longterm success. His talk provides inspiration for not only dreaming big, but also a pathway to achieving those dreams through incremental goal setting and tangible actions.
