Discovery at the H.J. Andrews

Why do landscapes look the way they do? Julia Jones, a geography professor in the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences, asks this of her students as they climb over hill and dale at the H.J. Andrews Experimental Forest. This flagship forest laboratory in the western Cascade Range provides rich opportunities for students to discover, discuss and explore how changing landscapes impact water and interact with climate.
